DESCRIPTION:Skill Level:  Intermediate\, and Almost Intermediate. \nRide Description:  Very little trail riding; we’ll use only as necessary to go to meadows that are surrounded by hills with widely spaced trees. Recommend downloading the free COTREX app if you don’t have another winter trails app that shows the trails at these three areas. \nLocation: Due to currently forecasted whiteout conditions at Rabbit Ears Pass – Dumont Lot\, we will meet at Moose Cafe in Kremmling\, look at the current forecast there\, then decide to go to either Rabbit Ears – Dumont Lot\, Rabbit Ears – Muddy Creek Lot\, Red Dirt Reservoir\, or Spring Creek. All are a roughly 30 minute drive from Moose Cafe. See View Venue Website below for directions to Moose Cafe. We’ll leave Moose Cafe by 7:45a. \nPre-Ride Meeting Time: 9:00a. \nRide Start Time: 9:15a. \nRide End Time: 3:00p\, or earlier if group wants. \nMust Haves:  Mntn sled\, Beacon w/good batts\, Probe\, Shovel\, FRS or GMRS radio set to channel 18\, privacy code 21. \nLunch Plan:  Carry whatever you need to stay fueled and hydrated for the day; we won’t be returning to the parking lot until the end of our ride. We plan to stop for about 30 minutes for lunch.
