DESCRIPTION:Skill Level:  Intermediate / Advanced. \nRide Description:  A little trail riding\, but only as necessary to go to meadows and hills with trees. Recommend downloading the free COTREX app if you don’t have another winter trails app that shows the Vail Pass Winter Recreation Area trails. \nLocation:  Vail Pass Winter Recreation Area – Vail Pass parking lot. (Note $10 parking fee if you don’t have an annual pass for VPWRA.) See View Venue Website link below for map/directions. \n\nParking lot may or may not be plowed\, but it usually is or is well packed down.\n\nBreakfast: 7:00a\, Sunshine Cafe\, 250 Summit Pl\, Silverthorne\, CO 80498\, https://maps.app.goo.gl/fmFxUbvz8jHKBJAY8 \nPre-Ride Gear Check & Meeting: 8:30a\, near Mathew’s truck (Grey Ford F-150\, no trailer). \nRide Start Time: 8:45a. \nRide End Time:  4:00p\, or earlier if group wants. \nMust Haves:  Mntn sled\, Beacon w/good batts\, Probe\, Shovel\, FRS or GMRS radio set to channel 18\, privacy code 21. \nLunch Plan:  Carry whatever you need to stay fueled and hydrated for the day; we won’t be returning to the parking lot until the end of our ride.
