DESCRIPTION:This ride has been cancelled due to lack of interest. \n  \nSkill Level:  All levels who want to ride trail only. \nRide Description:  We’ll explore many of the great trails at the Vail Pass Winter Rec. Area (VPWRA). Recommend downloading the free COTREX app if you don’t have another winter trails app that shows the VPWRA trails. \nLocation:  Vail Pass – I70 Parking Lot. $10 Parking Fee or VPWRA Season Pass. See View Venue Website link below for map/directions. \n\nParking lot may or may not be plowed\, but it usually is or is well packed down.\n\nPre-Ride Gear Check & Meeting: 9:00a\, near Jay’s SUV (a blue BMW X5 towing a black side-by-side Triton Trailer). \nRide Start Time: 9:15a. \nRide End Time:  4:00p\, or earlier if group wants. \nMust Haves:  Sled suitable for trail riding\, Beacon w/good batts\, Probe\, Shovel\, FRS or GMRS radio set to channel 18\, privacy code 21. \nLunch Plan:  Carry whatever you need to stay fueled and hydrated for the day; we won’t be returning to the parking lot until the end of our ride. We plan to eat at Camp Hale National Monument.
