SUMMARY:Club Ride - Rabbit Ears Pass
DESCRIPTION:Skill Level:  Intermediate and above. \nRide Description:  Very little trail riding; we’ll use only as necessary to go to meadows and hills with widely spaced trees. Will stay S of Rt. 40 where fewer people go\, generally playing in the areas off of Rt. 5A around its W side to its S side (recommend downloading the free COTREX app if you don’t have another winter trails app that shows 5A). \nLocation:  Rabbit Ears – Dumont Lot. 40.389170\, -106.642062\, https://maps.app.goo.gl/Hji41cAGViLsVJeP6  \n“Not” meeting at The Moose in Kremmling as originally planned; we’ll go straight to the parking lot in order to arrive there before the crowds.  \nParking lot may or may not be plowed; its entrance and perimeter roads are usually well packed down. \nPre-Ride Gear Check & Meeting:  8:30a\, near beacon test station NW corner of parking lot. \nRide Start Time:  8:45a. \nRide End Time:  4:00p\, or earlier if group wants. \nMust Haves:  Mntn sled\, Beacon w/good batts\, Probe\, Shovel\, FRS radio set to channel 18-21. \nLunch Plan:  Carry whatever you need to stay fueled and hydrated for the day; we won’t be returning to the parking lot until the end of our ride.
