DESCRIPTION:Skill Level:  Intermediate and above. \nRide Description:  Very little trail riding; we’ll use only as necessary to go to meadows and hills with widely spaced trees. Will stay S of Rt. 40 where fewer people go\, generally playing in the areas off of Rt. 5A around its W side to its S side (recommend downloading the free COTREX app if you don’t have another winter trails app that shows 5A). \nLocation:  Rabbit Ears – Dumont Lot. 40.389170\, -106.642062\, https://maps.app.goo.gl/Hji41cAGViLsVJeP6  \n“Not” meeting at The Moose in Kremmling as originally planned; we’ll go straight to the parking lot in order to arrive there before the crowds.  \nParking lot may or may not be plowed; its entrance and perimeter roads are usually well packed down. \nPre-Ride Gear Check & Meeting:  8:30a\, near beacon test station NW corner of parking lot. \nRide Start Time:  8:45a. \nRide End Time:  4:00p\, or earlier if group wants. \nMust Haves:  Mntn sled\, Beacon w/good batts\, Probe\, Shovel\, FRS radio set to channel 18-21. \nLunch Plan:  Carry whatever you need to stay fueled and hydrated for the day; we won’t be returning to the parking lot until the end of our ride.

DESCRIPTION:The 23nd Annual Snowmobile for Life Poker Run is Saturday 2/15/2025 at 9 AM at Grand Lake. \nThe Mile Hi Snowmobile Club of Denver and the Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club of Grand Lake host the Snowmobile for Life Poker Run to raise funds for Flight for Life Colorado. \nFlight for Life Colorado is an Air Ambulance service based in Denver out of St. Anthony’s Hospital.  It started in 1972 and was the first Air Ambulance service in the country.  It was inspired by helicopter pilots returning to Colorado from the Vietnam War and 2022 is the 50th Anniversary for Flight for Life Colorado \nAbout Flight for Life Colorado: https://www.centura.org/our-ecosystem/flight-for-life
