The Fling events are on both May 2 and May 3 at the Muddy Creek Parking Lot. DESCRIPTION:Skill Level:  Intermediate / Advanced. \nEvent Description: Spring Fling 2025 is a big & fun event with rides\, vendors\, music\, food/drink\, bonfire\, & costumes that raises money to support CSA & our Local Club…400 participants in 2024! The Fling events are on both May 2 and May 3 at the Muddy Creek Parking Lot\, but we’ll start our ride on May 3 from the Dumont Parking Lot since the Muddy Creek lot will be VERY crowded; it’s only a 1-mile sled ride between the two. \nRide Description: Our ride will be just the morning on Sat.\, May 3; we’ll end it by riding over and enjoying the Fling events and lunch/beverages there. Very little trail riding; we’ll use only as necessary to go to meadows and hills with widely spaced trees. Recommend downloading the free COTREX app if you don’t have another winter trails app that shows Rabbit Ears. \nLocation:  Rabbit Ears – Dumont Lot. See View Venue Website link below for map/directions. \nPre-Ride Gear Check & Meeting: 9:45a\, near beacon test station NW corner of parking lot. \nRide Start Time: 10:00a. \nRide End Time: 1:00p\, or whenever the Fling events start that day. \nMust Haves:  Mntn sled\, Beacon w/good batts\, Probe\, Shovel\, FRS or GMRS radio set to channel 18\, privacy code 21. \nLunch Plan:  Carry whatever you need to stay fueled and hydrated for the day; we’ll have lunch at the Fling when we arrive there.
